Mr. Scruggs is a seasoned financial professional with over 40 years of experience, having founded Financial Designs in 1983, where he specializes in continuity planning, succession planning, exit planning, financial solutions, and business coaching — currently overseeing $700 million in assets under management. He holds a BBA from the College of William & Mary along with prestigious designations including CLU®, ChFC®, and C(k)P®, and further extends his expertise as a published author, keynote speaker, and founder of 11X, a coaching and training firm dedicated to financial advisors.

Mr. Sharman is a successful manufacturing and operations executive with over 40 years of leadership experience, currently serving as Vice President of Forestry Sales at Custom Truck One Source. As the former Owner and President of Forestry Equipment of Virginia Inc., he successfully scaled the company into a leading national producer of aerial bucket trucks, operating across all 50 states and Canada, before it was acquired by Blackstone Private Equity in a $1.5 billion transaction — where he subsequently served as CEO of the Forestry division and later as a Board Advisor until 2021. In addition to his corporate achievements, Mr. Sharman is also an active partner in land development and commercial rental projects, further demonstrating his broad business expertise.

Mr. Banning is a seasoned mining executive with a results-oriented approach and commitment to excellence, achieved by cultivating high-performance teams. With a dynamic leadership style, he brings over 25 years of expertise spanning corporate strategy, feasibility studies, project design, construction, mine re-start and operations, with a focus on copper alongside a diverse array of commodities. His track record highlights proficiency in team leadership, risk management, and the enhancement of systems and processes, fostering a ‘continuous improvement’ culture that consistently delivers rapid, impactful, and sustainable value. Mr. Banning holds a B.S. in Mining Engineering from Montana Tech School of Mines and is recognized as a Qualified Person – Mining (QP-MMSA).

Ms. Paredes has over 30 years of international experience in mineral exploration, corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, capital allocation, M&A, and public company governance. She was previously the CFO of Mako Mining Corp and Belhaven Copper and Gold; her extensive experience in finance was developed in storied companies such as Rio Tinto, Intel, and Hewlett-Packard. Prior to her career in finance, Ms. Paredes worked for BHP Minerals and BHP Tintaya in a variety of roles, including exploration, geological modeling, resource calculation, and mine planning.

Ms. Paredes received a B.Sc. in Geological Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria Lima, Peru, a M.Sc. degree in Geology from Iowa State University, and an MBA from Cornell University.

Ms. Heazlett is an environmental and permitting professional with nearly a decade of experience in the mining industry. Her expertise includes environmental permitting, NEPA compliance, regulatory affairs, reclamation, water resources, air quality, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to joining Lion Copper & Gold, she served in environmental leadership roles with Nevada mining operations, most recently as Environmental Superintendent at Nevada’s largest silver producing operations, Coeur Rochester. Ms. Heazlett has extensive experience managing complex permitting and compliance programs while working collaboratively with regulatory agencies, local communities, and industry partners to advance responsible resource development. She holds both M.S. and B.S. degrees in Environmental Science and currently serves as Vice President of the Women’s Mining Coalition.

Seasoned executive and officer in the gold, copper, and strategic mining sector. Industrial track record includes the Kupol mine project for Bema Gold (sold to Kinross for $3 billion), the Kensington mine project for Coeur Mining, the financing, development, and liquidity exits of multiple strategic mining operations in Russia and Eurasia, and negotiating a bilateral mining treaty between the governments of Russia and China. A licensed Professional Engineer, Mr. Naugle received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and holds a degree in mining engineering from Montana Tech.

Mr. Stiles is an experienced executive with 25 years of experience resolving complex regulatory, operational, and project challenges in the mining sector. He has expertise in implementing permitting and compliance strategies for mining operations in multiple states, including Nevada. His experience includes working with senior management within federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Doug is skilled at building trusting relationships with diverse project stakeholders, including local communities and Indian Tribes near mine sites. Mr. Stiles has a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Montana Tech and an MBA from Washington State University.

An experienced executive in the mining and natural resource sectors, with over 40 years of directly relevant experience to Lion CG’s development goals. His recent experience includes over 15 years as a senior executive advancing the mining projects in the Yerington Copper District. Mr. Dischler has a proven track record of working constructively with the local communities, Native American Tribes, governmental agencies, and NGOs. Mr. Dischler holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Mining Engineering, is a registered Professional Engineer and a Qualified Person – Environmental (QP-MMSA).
